About This Race
The Maine Marathon is a beloved fall race through the scenic streets of Portland, starting and finishing at Baxter Boulevard along Back Cove. Organized by the Maine Track Club, a nonprofit organization, the event donates approximately 64% of gross profits to charity, having raised nearly $9 million for Maine causes since 1997. The USATF-certified, Boston-qualifying course offers rolling hills with stunning ocean views and peak fall foliage.
