The Mainova Frankfurt Marathon is one of Europe's fastest and best-organized city marathons. First held in 1981, it offers a flat, looped course that starts and finishes at the iconic Festhalle Messe Frankfurt. The route passes through Frankfurt's financial district, along the Main riverbanks, and through charming Sachsenhausen.
