About This Race
The adidas Manchester Marathon is the UK's second largest marathon, welcoming over 43,000 runners on a fast, flat course through the streets of Manchester and Trafford. Organised by A.S.O. UK, the event has grown rapidly since its modern inception in 2012 and is widely regarded as one of the friendliest marathons in Britain. The course is ideal for personal bests and Boston qualifying times thanks to its minimal elevation change.
