About This Race
The Midnight Sun Marathon in Tromsø is the world's most remarkable nocturnal running experience — a race starting at 10:30pm in a city located 350km north of the Arctic Circle where the sun never sets between May and July. Runners cross the iconic Tromsø Bridge over the Arctic Ocean fjord, run along the Arctic cathedral-flanked waterfront, up through the city's birch-forested Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden, and back — all under brilliant midnight sunshine. Unforgettable.
