About This Race
The DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon is one of the largest racing events in the United States, welcoming over 50,000 participants across all distances. First held in 1985, suspended from 2004-2008, and revived in 2009 by P3R, the marathon weekend features a full marathon, half marathon, five-person relay, 5K, kids marathon, toddler trot, and pet walk through Pittsburgh's scenic neighborhoods and across its iconic bridges.
