About This Race
The Portland Marathon by OHSU is one of Oregon's premier road racing events, starting and finishing at Portland's iconic Waterfront Park along the Willamette River. The USATF-sanctioned course features a fast, flat elevation profile with the start/finish line just 36 feet above sea level and a maximum elevation of only 178 feet. The event includes a full marathon and half marathon, drawing approximately 3,000 finishers annually. Presented by OHSU Health and organized by Brooksee LLC, it continues a running tradition dating back to the early 1970s in the City of Roses.
