About This Race
The Green Park Reading Half Marathon is one of the UK's longest-established half marathons, first held in 1983. The course winds through the town centre and along the Thames towpath, starting and finishing at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. With around 15,000 runners, it has been a fixture of the spring running calendar for over 40 years and remains hugely popular with club runners and beginners alike.
