About This Race

The Big Half is a community half marathon organised by London Marathon Events, starting next to Tower Bridge and finishing by the famous Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Launched in 2018, the 13.1-mile course weaves through east and south-east London, passing Canary Wharf, Bermondsey, and Rotherhithe. With a four-hour time limit, it is designed to be inclusive and welcoming for runners of all abilities. The event has sold out every year since 2023.
