About This Race
The 41st Zurich Maraton de Sevilla is widely regarded as one of the fastest and most scenic marathons in Europe. The ultra-flat course winds through Seville's historic centre, passing the Cathedral and Giralda tower, the Alcazar, Plaza de Espana, and along the Guadalquivir River. February temperatures and low elevation make it a prime event for personal bests. Organized by Seville Council's Sports Institute with Sport Life Iberica, the event is limited to 12,000 marathon runners plus 200 elite athletes.
