About This Race
The Beirut Marathon is a symbol of Lebanese resilience — the Paris of the Middle East's beloved annual race that unites Lebanon's diverse communities in a celebration of life. The flat coastal course winds along the legendary Corniche Mediterranean promenade with the backdrop of the snow-capped Mt. Lebanon range, past the Pigeon Rocks sea stacks, through the rebuilt downtown Martyrs' Square, and along the American University of Beirut waterfront.
