About this race

The Wizz Air Belgrade Marathon runs through Serbia's energetic capital — one of Europe's most vibrant nightlife and cultural cities, with a strategic history spanning Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Habsburg, and Yugoslav empires. Starting at the mighty Kalemegdan Roman fortress at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, the course winds through the bohemian Skadarlija quarter, along the Sava waterfront, and through Ada Ciganlija island park.
