About This Race
The Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon is the only marathon that runs along the famously scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, boasting over 7,430 feet of elevation change -- more than any other road marathon in the United States. This non-profit event benefits the Blue Ridge Parkway and a dozen local charities each year. The weekend includes the marathon, half marathon, Anthem Star 10K, Freedom First Marathon Relay, Double Marathon, Carilion Children's Family 1 Miler, and Sunday Slow-K. Virtual options are available for the marathon, half, and 10K.
