About This Race
The Charlotte Marathon runs through the Queen City — the financial capital of the American South and gateway to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. The BQ-eligible course winds through Uptown Charlotte's sleek glass towers, through the historic Fourth Ward Victorian neighbourhood, along Little Sugar Creek Greenway, through NoDa's vibrant arts district, across Freedom Park's lake, and past the Levine Museum of the New South.
