About This Race
The Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Marathon is one of Asia's most beautiful spring races, running through the ancient Silla Kingdom capital — an open-air museum of 1,000-year-old royal tombs, Buddhist temples, and pagodas — under magnificent tunnels of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The flat course winds along the famous Bomun Lake and through Gyeongju's UNESCO-protected ancient sites.
