About This Race
The Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon is held annually on the fourth weekend in April in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. First run in 2009, the flat course starts near the State Farm Center, winds through the University of Illinois campus and the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana, and finishes on the 50-yard line of Zuppke Field in historic Memorial Stadium. With only 26 meters of elevation change, the course is one of the flattest in the country and is known for producing fast times.
