About this race
The Cracovia Marathon runs through Poland's royal city and cultural heart — Kraków, miraculously undevastated during WWII. Starting from the magnificent Main Market Square (one of Europe's largest medieval squares), the course winds past the Wawel Royal Castle and Cathedral on its limestone hill, along the Vistula River parklands, through the atmospheric Jewish Quarter Kazimierz, and past the renowned Nowa Huta socialist realist district.
