About This Race
The Lakefront 10 Mile & 5K is a beloved Chicago fall race on the legendary Chicago Lakefront Trail. Runners enjoy unobstructed views of Lake Michigan and the famous Chicago skyline on the flat, fast out-and-back course. Organized by the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA), this race is a favorite tune-up for the Chicago Marathon the following month.
