About This Race
The Manchester Road Race is one of the oldest and most storied road races in the United States. First held in 1927 with just twelve runners, this 4.748-mile Thanksgiving Day tradition now draws over 12,000 participants annually. The 2026 edition marks the race's 90th running. Presented by Hartford HealthCare, the race begins promptly at 10:00 AM every Thanksgiving morning on Main Street in Manchester, Connecticut.
