About this race
The Muscat Marathon runs through one of the Arabian Peninsula's most strikingly beautiful capitals — a city dramatically wedged between dramatic Al Hajar mountain peaks and the azure Arabian Sea. The course winds along Muscat's stunning corniche with dramatic mountain backdrops, past the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque (one of the world's largest), through the historic Muttrah souk district, and along the Ruwi commercial wadi.
