About This Race
The Newport Marathon is a beloved Oregon Coast tradition presented by Oregon Coast Bank, returning for its 27th consecutive year in 2026. This Boston-qualifying race features a flat, fast course along scenic Yaquina Bay and the Newport waterfront. The non-profit event is produced by the Newport Booster Club, with all proceeds funding school athletics in Newport. Packet pickup takes place the day before at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club. With approximately 1,000 runners, it offers a friendly, community-focused racing experience on the coast.
