About This Race
The Chevron City to Surf for genU is Western Australia's most iconic community event, established in 1975. With over 40,000 participants, it is one of the largest running events in Australia. The 12km course starts on St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD and finishes at the stunning City Beach Oval. A shorter 4km course starts from McLean Park in Floreat. The event is genU's premier fundraising event, with funds raised supporting people living with disability. The finish area at City Beach transforms into a family-friendly precinct with activities and entertainment.
