About This Race
The Reno Marathon runs through the Biggest Little City — Reno's proud self-description, bridging the gap between its casino culture and the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountains that frame the western horizon. The BQ-eligible course winds along the beautiful Truckee River trail through Wingfield Park, through Reno's revitalized Midtown arts district, past the neon arch on Virginia Street, into the university district, and along the Lee Robinson Trail with views of the Sierra Nevada snowpack.
