About This Race
The Uniper Dusseldorf Marathon takes runners through the vibrant streets of North Rhine-Westphalia's state capital along the Rhine. Originally established in 2003, the event was relaunched in 2025 under D.SPORTS / D.LIVE management. The course passes along the scenic Rhine promenade, through the Altstadt (Old Town), and the modern MedienHafen district. Runners enjoy free public transport on race day with their bib number. The event offers marathon, half marathon, relay, and kids' races.
