About This Race
The Wadi Rum Desert Marathon runs through one of Earth's most otherworldly landscapes — the Valley of the Moon — a UNESCO protected geological wonder of towering sandstone mountains, ancient Nabataean inscriptions, and vast crimson sand plains. The course is run by the Bedouin tribes who have lived in Wadi Rum for centuries. Mars films have been shot here. The race includes full marathon, half, and 10K options through the most photogenic terrain on Earth.
