Armenia's capital marathon grew out of the Yerevan Half Marathon staged 2015-2017, with the full distance added in 2018 and the half AIMS-certified. Marathon, half and 12km start together at Shahumyan Square at 08:00 on 18 October, threading the city center before dropping into the Hrazdan River gorge and finishing at the start; the 5km and kids' race run the gorge a day earlier. Some 300m of climb at 970-1070m altitude, historically 10-20C. Capped at 3,500; marathon 18+, six-hour limit.
