The Bluegrass Marathon & Half Marathon winds through the rolling Bluegrass countryside around Lexington, the Horse Capital of the World. Runners pass famous thoroughbred horse farms, white wooden fences, and the iconic stone walls of central Kentucky. Starting and finishing near Keeneland Race Course, the spring race showcases Kentucky's unique pastoral beauty.
