About This Race
The Colorado Marathon descends along the scenic Poudre River into Fort Collins, making it one of Colorado's fastest courses. Starting at around 6,000 feet, the course drops steadily along the river, flattening at mile 17 with one notable hill at mile 19 before coasting to the finish in Old Town Fort Collins. The race has qualified roughly 16-18% of all entrants for the Boston Marathon each year, making it a premier BQ destination.
