About This Race
The Flying Pig Marathon is one of America's most beloved and fun running events — named for Cincinnati's rich pork-packing heritage (it was once called Porkopolis). The hilly course crosses the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge into Kentucky (the prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge!), winds through Florence's rolling hills, climbs back over the Ohio River, through Eden Park with Cincinnati Art Museum views, and finishes in the revitalised OTR (Over-the-Rhine) neighbourhood.
