About This Race
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, the Publix Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon features 26.2 miles of signature South Florida beauty with miles of unobstructed ocean views along the iconic A1A highway. The fast, flat course is a Boston Marathon qualifier and drew more than 5,200 runners in 2026. The event also features a half marathon, 6K, CELSIUS Fort Lauderdale 5K, and Kids Race. Since its inaugural race on February 19, 2006 with 332 runners, it has grown into one of South Florida's most popular winter road races.
