About This Race
The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon is one of the fastest marathon courses in the country, regularly ranking in the top 25 fastest races nationwide. Organized by the Toledo Roadrunners Club, the flat and fast course starts and finishes at the University of Toledo. Over a third of full marathon finishers earn a Boston Marathon qualifying time, making it a premier BQ destination. Originally established in 1971, the race was revitalized in 2010 and has grown steadily since.
