About This Race

Hells Hills Trail Race is a challenging trail event held in the Lost Pines region near Smithville in Central Texas. The race offers 50-mile, 50K, 25K, and 10K distances on rolling, technical single-track trails through the loblolly pine forest of Buescher State Park. The course features constant elevation changes, sandy soil, exposed roots, and creek crossings. It lives up to its name with relentless hills that test even experienced trail runners.
