About This Race
The Inca Trail Marathon to Machu Picchu is the world's most legendary trail race — running the actual Inca Royal Road through the cloud forest, over Dead Woman's Pass at 4,215m (the race's highest point), past ancient Inca ruins and orchid gardens, and finishing at the Sun Gate overlooking the breathtaking lost city of Machu Picchu. Acclimatization in Cusco required. A race that changes lives.
