About This Race
The Mississippi Blues Marathon is a January race through Jackson, Mississippi — celebrating the birthplace of American blues music. Live blues bands play at every mile marker through Jackson's neighborhoods, and the event honors the rich musical heritage of the Mississippi Delta. A flat, USATF-certified course with festival atmosphere makes it one of the South's most unique winter marathon experiences.
