About This Race
The New Bedford Half Marathon is one of the oldest and most storied half marathon events in the Northeast. Starting at City Hall, the 13.1-mile course winds through the historic streets of this former whaling capital. Managed by the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick, the race is held each year near St. Patrick's Day and draws competitive fields alongside recreational runners.
