About This Race

Ragnar Trail North Texas is an overnight trail relay race on the LBJ National Grasslands near Decatur. Teams of 8 take turns running three different trail loops of varying distances and difficulty, accumulating approximately 120 miles over 24 hours. The event features camping at Ragnar Village, nighttime running with headlamps, and a festive atmosphere. It combines the camaraderie of team relay running with the challenge of trail running through North Texas prairie and wooded terrain.
