Report a correctionAbout this race
Held each December on Grand Cayman in the Caribbean, this AIMS-certified, Boston-qualifying marathon starts pre-dawn at 4:30am from Seafarers Way in George Town to beat the tropical heat. The very flat out-and-back course runs south through South Sound to the Prospect Point turnaround, doubled for the full. Founded in 2002 to support the Cayman Islands Cadet Corps, it is now a charity event backed by title sponsor Walkers and offers a full, half, four-person relay and kids fun run.
