About This Race
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run features both a half marathon and a 10K through the vibrant city of Bristol. The original Bristol Half Marathon was first held in 1989 and rebranded as part of the Great Run series in 2016. The course takes runners through the Harbourside, past the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, and through the lively streets of this south-west city. It attracts around 15,000 runners annually.
